Whole Body Massage - Give your entire body a 
massage at least once a week. This will make your skin smooth and rejuvenate it as well. Apply and massage your body with a good lubricating cream or oil for at least 20 - 30 minutes. This will help the oil penetrate within the first layer of your skin and will keep your skin smooth and moist for long.

Daily Cleansing - Be gentle to your daily 
cleansing routine. Do not rub hard on any part of your body. If you are using any skin tonic that contains alcohol, stop using it during winter, alcohol causes further dryness of skin and makes it all the more sensitive.

Minimize Use of Peel Off - If you use the skin peel offs regularly, slow down. Peeling frequently will not let your skin balance the moisture and protect its lipid barrier.


Sunscreen Lotion - Do not forget your sunscreen lotion. We spend more time out in the sun in winter and so 
sunscreen is very important. 

Avoid Hot Water Bath - Do not stay long in hot water shower. Also do not bathe in very hot water. It increases the dryness of the skin.


Hands and Lips - Take care of your hands and lips and do not leave them dry or chapped.


Stay Active - It seems difficult to stay active in winter. Yet, if you keep an active lifestyle, you will feel much better this winter. Keep up to your daily fitness regime. This will help you maintain the blood circulation in your body. 

Before taking up any skin care treatment, you need to know what type of skin you have. Some of the skin types do not have to be taken care of specifically. However, sensitive skin has to be treated very carefully. It is always better to switch to natural skin care remedy. You will be free from any kind of side effects.
